Courtney serves students interested in Counseling, Early Childhood Intervention, Elementary and Secondary Education, Higher Education Administration, Instructional Leadership, PhD Human Development, PsyD Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Reading Education, School Leadership, School Psychology, Special Education, Speech Language Pathology, and all Education Certifications.

About Me: I was born and raised in Scranton, PA.  I am the third child in a family of four.  I have an older brother and sister and a younger brother.  I earned my bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Marywood in 2007.  During my time as an undergraduate student I participated in the San Lucas Missionary International service trip in Guatemala.  It was the most enlightening experience of my life and I would recommend any student interested in service opportunities stop by the Campus Ministry office.  I thoroughly enjoy working with people.  I am currently pursuing a master's degree and certification in Special Education from Marywood.

My Hobbies: I love all kinds of sports, especially basketball, soccer, and baseball.  I love baking, the beach, traveling, exercising, and participating in sporting events.

My Favorite Thing About Marywood: The individual attention given to each student.  The faculty and staff go out of their way to make each student feel special. 

My Favorite Place on Campus:  My favorite place on campus is the Swartz Center for Spiritual Life.  It is an amazing building and if you have not had the opportunity to see it you should visit.  Also, the Rotunda at Christmastime is magnificent. 

You'd Never Guess: I used to sing into a ketchup bottle on a daily basis as part of my summer job at Johnny Rockets.

My Best Advice:  Take each day as it comes and live your life to the fullest.  Take advantage of all the programs, events, and service opportunities Marywood has to offer.  The programs are easy to find and they will bring out the best in you as an individual.
